Translation Services for Health and Other Providers

To enhance information access for immigrant and refugee communities, SERC is committed to providing quality translation services for written resources on topics such as:

• Reproductive health
• Sexual health
• Maternal/Child health
• Orientation to the health system and other services

We can translate brochures, booklets, fact sheets, posters, hospital forms and much more. All translated resources are written in a “user-friendly” language and in a culturally appropriate manner.

Fee for translation*: 30 cents per word on average (minimum $25.00)

The final product will be provided in a typed format. For languages who don’t use the standard alphabet, an extra charge may be applied.

To ensure quality translation, we also offer the following services**:

• Focus testing within the communities
• Back translation of translated documents
• Independent reviewing of translated documents
