Research and Evaluation

Research and evaluation are central to SERC’s work. The evaluation of our programs and projects is essential in understanding the impact of our work on participants, and to continually improve. Research projects in the area of sexuality and sexual health usually involve collaboration with community members, other community organizations and university based researchers.

SERC’s research and evaluation serves the following purposes:

  • To provide support for SERC’s programs and services;
  • To provide support for SERC’s strategic directions;
  • To build research capacity among SERC’s staff, volunteers and community-based partners.
