Projects at SERC

Special projects enable SERC to be innovative in testing new models, trying new approaches, and engaging new partners. Through these projects we revitalize our work and quickly respond to emerging issues or trends.

Our experiences are documented and the lessons learned build on our capacity for further work on specialized topics or within specific populations. Special projects often result in new resources (manuals, translated resources, pamphlets, etc.) for community members and service providers.

Most special projects are grant funded and time-limited, although some have received sustained support over a number of years, allowing SERC to build a solid body of skills and knowledge in specific areas.

SERC special projects are grant-dependent and time-limited, with focused objectives. They are not necessarily part of our ongoing programming.
