The Sexuality Education Resource Centre maintains a collection of books, journals, and teaching aids related to numerous aspects of sexual and reproductive health. These resources are available to the public for loan and are useful for teachers, nurses, social workers, students, parents, youth and children.

SERC Lending Library Policies

Hours: To access the lending library, drop-ins are welcome during regular business hours of Monday - Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm. To book an appointment with the librarian please call 982-7805 or email gwenc@serc.mb.ca. We'll be glad to assist you during your visit.

Deposit: To borrow any books or resources, we require a credit card number or a $50 cash deposit. In the event that you do not return a resource, you will be charged for the cost of the resource plus a 15% administration fee. Cash deposits will be given back to you and credit card numbers shredded upon return of materials to our library.          *Cash deposits are on a sliding scale for low-income library users.*

Lending period: 2 weeks but extensions can be made by phone.

Videos: Due to high replacement costs, we do not usually lend out videos.

Photocopies: Our photocopier is available for public use - copies are 10 cents per page.
