The S-Team is a group of youth formed through the "Empowering Rural Youth Towards Healthy Sexuality" Project headquartered in the SERC Brandon office.
The "S" in S-Team can stand for the "Sex Team" or the "SERC Team" whichever appeals at the time. It was felt that this was a more acceptable name by which they could introduce themselves to a diverse audience, including schools, students and youth not in school.
The S-Team offers peer education workshops to rural youth on sexual health, drug and alcohol use, and HIV/STI prevention. For a listing of the workshops offered, go to The S-Team Workshops.
