The following are some symptoms a woman may experience in early pregnancy:
- a missed or late period
- breasts may enlarge and burn, tingle, or feel tender
- nausea and vomiting may occur at any time of the day or night
- fatigue (tiredness)
- frequent urination (peeing)
The absence or presence of any of these symptoms may not indicate a
pregnancy. Symptoms of pregnancy may mimic other illnesses like the
flu. A woman anxious about a possible pregnancy will often find that
the anxiety delays her period. Some of these symptoms may also be like
Pre Menstrual Syndrome (PMS). A reliable pregnancy test and pelvic exam
is required to confirm the pregnancy.
